We take great pleasure in certifying that Shri TR.Ramanan served as a visiting faculty member in the 2012-13 batch of our two year full time MBA in Hospital and Health System Management, affiliated to the Tamil Nadu Dr MGR Medical University. Shri Ramanan was chosen for the task in view of the critical role and indispensability of IT in healthcare delivery, he became the TSNA’s preferred choice for the role, over several options after taking into consideration his diverse expertise in IT and his enviable track record in making the subject simple, understandable and usable to students from a non-IT background, as our course was catering to healthcare professionals with minimal exposure to IT.
W are happy to say that he has far exceeded our expectations and has made his topic ‘Role of Information &Communication Technology in today’s healthcare’ well understood and applicable in a real-time scenario to each of his students. His strong subject matter expertise and imparting skills have helped our students gain a thorough understanding and knowledge of the entire gamut of IT applications in healthcare right from Information systems, hardware and software, leveraging the power of the internet and e-com and the scientific storage and retrieval of huge volumes of medical/patient data through the implementation of electronic Medical Records (EMR). Shri Ramanan has created a strong impact in the minds of the members of the management of TSNA, his co-faculty members and his students with his high level of dedication, which has ensured that every single student understood the concepts and devices and for making his classes most absorbing with real-time examples that made the students to relate to what they were being taught.
We wholeheartedly thank him for being such a great mentor and a great instructor to our students and wish him all success in his future endeavours.
